Bull Blowout weekend at Cherry Expo Center
Bull Blowout returns to Murray State University this weekend for two shows, Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Cherry Agricultural Expo Center. Exciting rodeo action featuring bull riding and barrel racing will begin at 8 p.m. each night. Mutton busting for children up to age six will be held at 7:30 p.m. prior to Bull Blowout. Kids up to age 10 can compete in a calf scramble.
Bull riding has $500 added money each night with payback in four holes. The entry fee is $60, which includes a $20 stock fee. There is a $25 fee to enter the barrel racing event. Barrel racing features 100 percent payback in three holes plus $50 added each night.
All contestants may enter both nights in any of the events. Those under age 18 must have parental permission.
Tickets are $10 for adults. MSU students with valid ID may purchase tickets for $8. Children 12 and under will be admitted for $5. Advance tickets are not available. Tickets will be sold at the door. Gates open at 6 p.m.
